Kristen Anne Bell (1980) is a well-known American singer and actor. Born and raised in Huntington Woods Michigan as the daughter of Lorelei Frygier (a nurse) - and Tom Bell - a television director. She is an American singer and actress. Her mother is Polish and her father German, English Irish and Scottish. Kristen discovered a passion in the performing arts from an early age on stage. Her audition was in 1992, and was then offered the role of Raggedy Ann, and Andy. Bell was contacted by an agent by her mother before the age of 13 and was subsequently cast as a model in television and newspaper commercials. She also started taking private acting classes at the age of 13. Bell was a character who did not have a credit in Polish Wedding (1998), the film that was released in 1998. Bell went to Shrine Catholic High School and was a member of the music club and the drama club. In her school's stage production The Wizard of Oz, Bell won the role of Dorothy. After graduation Bell made the move into New York City to attend the prestigious Tisch School of the Arts, where she was a musical theater student. Bell dropped out of school in 2001 to take on the character of Becky in the film Tom Sawyer. Also in 2001 that Bell made her first appearance in a movie that had been credited, Pootie Tang (2002). The scene she appeared in was cut and the credits are all that display her. Bell made an appearance in Broadway in The Crucible, a revival which featured Liam Neeson with Angela Bettis.
