Jana Kramer is a country singer, songwriter and actor that made her name known on the television screen when she was cast as Alex in One Tree Hill for the last three seasons. In episodes of the show the singer-songwriter was seen performing her first country album. The album bearing named Thirty One was placed among the top 20 albums of the Billboard 200's top 20. Thirty One (2015), the album which followed in 2015 also made it to in the Top Ten. Her decade culminated with participation in Dancing with the Stars. Voices is a self-doubting record that was released in 2021. Jana Rae Kramer began acting in 2002, while she was still just a teenage. Her birthplace was in Rochester Hills Michigan Jana Rae Kramer has an extensive background in the country genre. Through the years Kramer was a regular on a variety of series, including All My Children and CSI: NY before landing the part of Noelle Davenport in NBC's Friday Night Lights in the Second season (2007-2008). Kramer was later cast to appear as Portia Ranson in 90210 (2008-2009) and Brooke Manning, in Entourage (2009) prior to when she was tapped for One Tree Hill by the CW as Alex Dupre. Kramer remained with the One Tree Hill team until the halfway point of its last season (2012). Jana Kramer Kramer, during her stint as Alex Dupre, on One Tree Hill signed with Elektra Records. She debuted the contemporary song "I Won't Let Go in the 2011 One Tree Hill episode. The track debuted in mid-2012 and was featured on her first complete album Jana Kramer. It landed in the Top Five of the Billboard Top Country Albums chart. Later she made a career of acting music and acted in films like Heart of the Country 2013 along with Country Crush 2016, which appealed directly to her fans. Kramer's second album Thirty One was released by Warner Music Nashville on October 15th, 2015. With help from The Top Five country hit I Got the Boy as well as a duet featuring Steven Tyler of Aerosmith it fared even better reaching number three on country's album chart and number ten on the Billboard 200. Starting in September 2016 she stayed for two months in the 23rd season of Dancing with the Stars, and finished with an overall fourth position. That year she also had an adult contemporary smash with the song "Feels Like" Christmas featuring Straight No Chaser.
